Joystiq is reporting on (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/06/dsi-only-software-is-region-locked/) the disappointing news that any content built specifically for the Nintendo DSi will indeed be region-locked, so as to better control all the fantastic Japanese goodies they never release to the other regions. This should have no affect current DS games played on a DSi.

Giant walls of region-specific rewards, FTL! :(
