Next week the Rock Band platform gets a full album from an artist many of us have been clamoring for: Stevie Ray Vaughan's seminal "Texas Flood".

'Texas Flood's" album's tracklisting:

"Love Struck Baby"
"Pride and Joy"
"Texas Flood"
"Tell Me"
"Testify"
"Rude Mood"
"Mary Had a Little Lamb"
"Dirty Pool"
"I'm Cryin'"
"Lenny"

Paired with this release (rather oddly at that), is a single from the band No Doubt - "New"

Each of the individual tracks will sell for 160 MSP/$2. "Texas Flood" as a while will cost 1280 MSP/ $16. As usual these tracks will be available on XBLA on Tuesday, and on PSN on Thursday.

I think these get released next Tuesday. At least, they weren't on there yesterday when I grabbed some new songs.

About fucking time. There's been a distinct lack of classic rock releases of late.

Of course, I'm not a huge fan of Roy Orbison or the Grateful Dead, so that might explain my point of view.

I need some more 70s/80s rock. Led Zeppelin/Journey/Scorpions/Queen/Def Leppard/ZZ Top/Van Halen are all sadly underrepresented.

We are ALL aware how bad they need Zep, Zanzibar.

However, these will all be really fun.

Ahhhh, finally some new DLC that I'm interested in! I loved playing "Texas Flood" on GH1.

Neat, they're putting "New" in. Wonder why it wasn't included in the No Doubt track pack...

Oh, crap, and WHERE THE HELL ARE THE EAGLES?!?! Did Guitar Hero have any Eagles tracks?

EDIT: Argh, yeah, GHWT had a download of a few Eagles tunes. Man, I hope future GH titles allow playback of downloaded GH songs - I'm gonna skip Metallica, maybe get Greatest Hits, but I can't wait for the follow-up title. It's gonna be hot. Very Hot.

Playing Hotel California on GHWT is one of the best plastic instrument experiences I've had recently. It's not challenging by any means, but it just feels really good to play (and is such an awesome song).

They also have One of These Nights on DLC, which is also exquisite. I so wanted those songs in Rock Band, but at least I got to play them somehow.

Awesome! Me and my bro's performed Pride and Joy for my wife at our wedding this weekend so obviously they were waiting for that to release the album! You are all welcome!
