Afro Samurai Blu-Ray on PS3

Does anyone have Afro-Samurai Season 1 on Blu-Ray - and they have it working on a PS3?

I bought it from Amazon forever ago, and when I finally got around to watching it, it wouldn't play. So I figured I'd rent it from Netflix and my disc was bad - nope still won't play.

I get the warning screen and then blackness.

Did you update the firmware on the PS3. I played it a while back and it worked fine. I haven't got the Resurrection BluRay yet.
