I just took an ice cream sandwich and slathered peanut butter on top of it as an experiment.

Delicious.

What are some of your delicious snack experiments, so we can all be grossed out?

Note: I asked for YOUR snack experiments. I don't want to see Meat Ships or any of that bacon blog stuff going on here.

Graham crackers and peanut butter is a good, if tame, snack.

You guys never heard of peanut butter icecream sandwiches? Try em...I think they taste a tad artificial but...it's not experimental :p

My mother used to eat peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Gross...

Not quite so crazy unhealthy, an apple and sultana (raisin) sandwich. I used to take them to school sometimes.

Or, melt cheddar in the microwave with tomato sauce. Then pour it on crackers or bread.

when i was little i used to love Jello Soup - any flavor jello (when set) and vanilla Ice Cream in a bowl, stir it all up and you have Jello Soup.

Octopus suckers.

After you cook the tentacles, the suckers pop right off. They have kind of a crunchy-chewy texture and the flavor is rather lobster/shrimp-like.

Toasted peanut butter and cheddar cheese sandwiches. Awesome.

Also, my friends and I once made a meat cake, but the OP told me not to talk about it :D

Not really a snack, but next time you have a hamburger, try putting peanut butter on top.

No, really. :p

Raw/live squid/octopus.

Delicious. Not for children (choking hazard...moving parts).

After you cook the tentacles

Cooked? Forget it...RAW!

Oh that's right, you've lived in Korea where they eat all those weird things.

(I'm not much into seafood so my opinion of "weird" encompasses a lot of Asian food...)

I love meat, just from land animals...

At this point I'm ready to put peanut butter on anything.

... except roboninja's cheese+PB sandwiches. :P

I've recently discovered that hot sauce (Cholula brand preferred) added to Ramen (Shrimp flavor preferred) is pretty awesome. Didn't sound odd to me, but my roommate seems to think the combination is gross.

Ignore me at your own peril!!

Even just try some cheddar with a dollop of PB. It just works.

When I was in high school I used to come home and microwave pepperoni until all the grease was cooked out of it. They'd get like potato chips and then I'd eat that.

We just bought a dehydrator that will do that to just about any food you want to put in there. It's surprising how delicious a slice of squash, or carrot, or zucchini is when it's dehydrated. Pretty good stuff!

Lately I've been mowing down on a combination of:

Cottage Cheese, Yogurt, and Cereal.

Not too radical I have made Skittle Infused Vodka, that was great with a little fruit juice!

Hmm, I like pineapple with soy sauce and bacon and cheese sandwhiches with raisins.

Hmmm.... once (during college), I made a PB/J sandwich using ramen noodles substituted for bread. It wasn't half bad, as the noodles actually do make a decent bread substitute.

Liquid, I had to try your snack... so I did tonight.

As you said

Delicious.

What I really enjoy is getting pineapple rings, slathering them with teriyaki sauce, and grilling 'em. Slap that sucker on a hamburger with a bit more of the sauce and it is fucking on!

I think there is some obsession with peanut butter around here.

Another snack, this time from my housemate: Ramen noodles w/chicken flavor broth and butter. Like, an unhealthy amount of butter (a stick of butter).

Another suggestion for ramen noodles. Instead of following the instructions, boil down the broth until it's almost thick. Then enjoy some hellishly salty, but extremely tasty noodles!

Teriyaki + pineapple is actually pretty common. YOU FAIL AT BIZARRE.

But you win at tasty.
