New Trailer for Prince of Persia 'Epilogue' DLC

What you see above is the trailer for the first batch of DLC for Prince of Persia, entitled Epilogue. The details of what's included can be found here (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showthread.php?t=5247), but you can see the new area - The Underground Palace - and the new power - Energize - in action in the trailer.

The "Epilogue" will be available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on February 26. Ubisoft will not be releasing the Epilogue pack on PCs. No word yet on price.

Oh this is so fine with me too. PoP was one of my favs from last year. The trailer has me wanting to boot up the PoP disc now to find the rest of seeds and even redo the end ....again :(

I need to do the same! I'm sitting at 960 light seeds right now. I should really do that before the DLC comes out.

Well, it certainly looks like...

they're just sticking around and fighting to put Ahriman back in the cage again, or kill him, or what have you - obviously Elika convinces the Prince to keep fighting for her home, even though the ending (to me) made it pretty clear he didn't care about that, at least not nearly as much as he cared about her.

And the slap? $10 says that happens in the opening cinematic, and she's "forgiven" him 20 minutes later so they can keep bantering while saving the world again.

I expect it'll still be a lot of fun, but unless the trailer is wildly misleading it doesn't seem like a particularly bold choice for the story, given how unconventional the ending was.

Maybe I'm wrong, though, maybe Ahriman pursued them to some other place for some reason. Those of you who aren't PC PoP owners like me will find out soon enough. I'll Gamefly it eventually and re-beat it, or buy it cheap, and then get the DLC. Grumble.

I originally rented this but when this DLC was announced last month I quickly re-rented it. It's been sitting here collecting dust for a few weeks but I figure it would be worth it...

Yeah, I had some friends over working through it with me at the time and they had to get going. We all wanted to see how the story ended so I headed to the temple despite not having all the seeds. Not sure why I didn't go back and finish after that. I just felt done at that point. Now I'm getting the itch to finish it off.
