Are the Nancy Drew games any good for kids? I've seen them in the store, but never picked one up.

I've honestly never tried any of them nor have I even read any of their reviews. I don't know...

that list looks pretty good and all of them would be suitable (with supervision) for kids.

The nancy drew pc games are fun, my wife likes point and click adventure/mystery and she'll go through them before taking them to her classroom.

another good ds game is Professor Layton and the Curious Village. we have it on ds and its a good anime story/puzzle game - http://ds.ign.com/articles/851/851856p1.html

I second that it is an INCREDIBLE game.

But a bit tough, for most kids.

I don't know the multiplayer details, but I had a lot of fun playing PacPix and I think it's something that most children (and their parents) would enjoy. Beyond actually playing the game, it's fun just to see your freak-of-nature, hand drawn pacman come to life and start moving around.

And Professor Layton is awesome, but some of the puzzles leave me stumped for hours. =/
