Spore gets user created quests.

Joystiq has video of the new expansion, Galactic Adventures (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/08/spore-galactic-adventures-vids-show-new-game-editing-features/), showing off a user made labyrinth, as well as quest and level creation tools, and a new terraforming system that isn't uselessly random.

I know Spore is a favorite punching bag for this site's "hardcore" elitists, but I personally enjoyed the game, and will definitely be getting this. If I trust anyone to make a quest/level creation tool that will finally Ryzom and NWN's, it's the Spore team at Maxis. This could provide a lot of fun.

Oh man, I would love to find a patch that puts the fun in it. I don't like using Spore as a punching bag, I was way stoked for it for months before it came out, I was just legitimately disappointed with the final product so I ended up bitching about it a fair amount. For me, it was without a doubt the biggest video game letdown of '08. If there's an expansion that adds something I enjoy to the game, I'll embrace it with open arms. Thanks for the heads up.

I would like Spore more if you could customize how much irritation you have to deal with in Space stage. I would massively prefer being able to set everyone to passive, so I can just run around and have fun.
