Moderators - Poll [Round 2] [Archive]

Please vote for who you would feel to be the best person for the 3rd Moderator slot. Keep in mind that the most important job of the Moderator will be keeping the Immortal Machines front page relevant. This is done by sorting and moving threads into the Industry News, Features and Podcast forums.

Also, since the Moderator would also become essentially part of the Immortal Machines staff, you would be part of steering how things operate.

This is a tough one, I honestly like everyone on that list but in the end I think my vote has to go to Slacker because of his extensive PC knowledge, especially in the area of software/OSs and IT.

Agreed, which means the vote really cannot go wrong, as they would all be capable of doing a good job.

Reading that job description, so to speak, I'm glad I turned down the people wanting me to be a mod. :) I definitely have my hands too full with Rainwave to do that job.

Goronmon is levelheaded and has years of previous mod experience, and those of us who met him at PAX know he would be a great fit for this.

I gotta say Bogard. He is constantly involved with PC gaming, and is always writing about it. He's a good guy on top of it. I'm not discrediting any of the other choices, but I think Bogard is an oft-overlooked part of the PC gaming community here at CoG/IM.

Yeah, to give it some face time on the side panel. There are quite a few people who don't actually go through the forum menus and I don't think IM gets as many hits as CoG yet so I just wanted to give this poll a bit more attention.
