Well this weekend is a go.
5 people, from 9am to 12pm Fading Suns and Warhammer 40,000 universe mixed for one hell of a RPG.
I have my game room outfitted with everything you could want(which is mostly nothing) since that helps people concentrate. Just the inwall stereo system and random decks of cards for DOC gameplay. I love DOC and may not return to mostly dice rolls for some time if ever.
Got all kinds of non messy foods.
Got 9-20 hours of content.
Props are ready
Gamers are primed.
I am seriously far more stoked for this than any game in the last couple years aside from maybe Mass Effect.
Wish me luck.
Actually wish them luck;)

Not on your life my man!
I have spread the love of that game to maybe 20 people all by myself. It is an amazing mixture of Dune/WOD/Warhammer 40,000. God damn great world. At least its still being released.

I actually thought the same thing as despair hit me when I saw where you are :(
But hey, I will come back and describe if it was good or bad and you can live though me vicariously

I guess vicariously will have to do.
I don't think its actually possible to be farther apart and remain in the continental US.
Holistic Design, the company that makes the dang thing (or at did, at any rate) is only a few miles from my house.

Ya now Redbrick makes it.
I think Holistic only does Nobilus now. Sadly.
So many game devs dying out.

That sucks. Its a great game. I think I have every book now. I love the dune style noble families mixed with the 1970's space exploration aspects. In fact in many ways it is Mass Effect the Roleplaying game.
