It finally came! The raffle prize from Child's Play has arrived in my inbox!

I am floating right now. Seriously. I'm not going to get any work done the rest of the day.

Thank you so much CoG! If Mr. Hayter happens to read this, I just want to say THANK YOU!!! I started with MGS1 on the PSOne and have loved every MGS in the series. These games have been a huge part of my gaming lifestyle, and having the voice of the lead character from these games just simply SAY MY NAME....it's just.....amazing!

In order to more easily share it with the colony, I made a cheapo vid and put it on youtube...

FYI, Mach Energy is an anagram of Ryan McGhee.....if anyone ever wondered.

An anagram of my full name is "Carry a pal a gin. Run!" and that is very appropriate.

Soooooo, does anybody know how to upload a voicemail greeting for an AT&T account? I've spent half an hour researching it, and I've only come up with a solution for the iPhone, which I don't have. I've got a Blackjack II that hates me. Any clues??

Hold the phone up to your speakers when it prompts you to record! :p

LOL! I KNOW! That's what I'm trying to avoid. This must be the best possible audio quality, so people can really know it's him and not a good mimic. I mean, who's to say I couldn't have just found the guy that did Crab Battle??

Someone tell me that there was not actually a MGS character named "Naked Snake" - that's one step from "Trouser Snake."

I believe Naked Snake was from MGS3 :p I could be wrong though, I've only ever played MGS.

Awesome! Really, let the guy out of your trunk. Also, apparently David Hayter is rather more prompt than Jonathan Coulton.

My birthday falls six days before Halloween every year, and two years ago, a friend of mine came to my Halloween/birthday party as Big Boss. Whenever I saw him, I'd yell, "Naked Snake!!!" but I think those who weren't in the know just assumed he was a (fully-clothed) army dude and didn't get what all the fuss was about.

They probably thought you were coming on to him or something. :p

Ya know, that would be a pretty fun costume. I'd love to rock the face paint and eye patch. I think I would even grow out a mullet for such an occasion! Although, I would probably get a cramp after walking around in the CQC stance for more than an hour.

It would be even better if another person dressed up as an enemy soldier. Major props awarded to somebody that invents a helmet with an inflatable "!" that they can trigger quickly. Heck, if I were inventing this helmet, it would have to have both "!" and a "?" to alternate between. Now, I just need a fast acting portable air pump...

Hayter is a very cool guy for doing that, cool for you sharing it too, I would of been much more selfish...

There were too many people on here that expressed interest in it, both when the prize was first announced and when I managed to win it. Besides, it was so cool, I knew you guys would get a kick out of it.

I've already listened to it about 30 times now. My wife laughs every time he says, "it's....stuffy in here. augh..."

Too classic. David obviously is a well practiced wordsmith, and I thank him for utilizing his gifts for this priceless piece of my gaming life. This was too generous a thing for me to be selfish about :D

Oh man, that is bad ass. Hayter is on the short list of voices who could make something so simple so awesome. I'd totally kill for Steve Downes to do a custom one too.
