Heya guys. I've been having issues running the Dawn of War II beta, and I believe it's because my CPU doesn't meet the minimum requirements by a long shot.
Here's my current motherboard. (http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=rs480m2-il)
My question is, are there any dual or quad-core CPU's compatible with this mobo, or at least a single-core at 3.2 GHz? Or should I just go and get a whole new motherboard?

Grab an E5200 and a Gigabyte mobo. Should run you about $200. 4 GB of RAM is $50. So for $250 you can get a new mobo, CPU, and RAM.

Bad news. From what I can tell, that chipset (ATI Xpress 200 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xpress_200)) only supports the Athlon 64 line (not the X2s), and any faster processors you could use are A) not all that much faster and B) ridiculously expensive (http://computers.pricegrabber.com/processors-retail-box/amd/p/42/vendorIds%5B%5D=99/st=sort/popup1%5B%5D=1700:276/popup3%5B%5D=12:278/sortby=priceA) because they're not being manufactured anymore.
Sorry, chief. :(

Damn. Guess I'll have to go with a new motherboard entirely. I think I'll take Disgustipated's suggestion as soon as I get the money. Thanks guys.

Yup. You're stuck getting an entirely new PC. Motherboard, RAM, etc. Make sure you're careful about what motherboard you buy if you're using the same case - that's a Micro ATX board. If you have a Micro ATX case to go along with it, you'll need a new uATX board. A normal one won't fit.

Yup, socket 939 boards are really old now. I think you'll need a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM. Its nearly a whole new computer.
