I've seen a few new people playing the game and I wonder how much they've gone into the multiplayer aspect of the game. Plenty to do there with the challenges, road rage, marked man, and bikes now too.

Interestingly, I read that that area of Paradise is the most visited area according to the telemetry Criterion use. No small wonder though since it's the prime spot for rolls and huge jumps.

I'm having a great time with the game. Quick question though: is there a method for getting started off the line quicker in racing events? The computer opponents always seem to launch away from the start, while I'm moseying along.

Nope. It's how every race starts. There is no lining up. It's as if they are coming full speed behind you and cross the line at top speed as the green light hits.

Ah...I did this last night in one sitting. 39 events. You got your Burnout License. Now you have like 120 things to do to get your Elite License.

My count was @ 99 events to do when I started. I assume all the burning routes counted towards the Elite license. Still missing about 9 gates, 20 billboards, and 12 jumps.

Yes. To get Elite status, you have to do EVERY SINGLE EVENT. All the races, stunt runs, road rages, marked mans, and burning routes.

To get 101%, you have to do all of that and get every smash, jump, and billboard. Plus, you have to have the best time and showtime score on ALL roads (against the preset scores and times).

Best time is done, but showtimes are so frustrating. For me Burnout is a great game to chip away at. Everytime it shows up in the news, or it gets mention on podcasts I usually fire it up for a few races.

I'm torn on how slow the gold carrier drives. I understand the 'why' but I'm not sure it makes the mode more fun than if the carrier went faster.

Also, if anyone figures out how to turn traffic on in that mode, please let me know. I tried each time we started a game and couldn't find it.

How to I start a Cops & Robbers game? I bought it and downloaded it, but I can't find out where/how to start playing it?
