Anyone else enjoy painting them? Would love to see some other work.

Here is some I just finished up recently. These are the Hero pieces for the game The Last Night on Earth. Still working on the zombies.

Those are excellent! I had never heard of The Last Night on Earth so I looked it up and now I want it. The website didn't seem to be too handy for getting the board and the rules, just miniatures. Where do you track down a complete set, or does such a thing not even exist?

Here is a location that has some links to places you can purchase the game.

Here is a link for the rules.

The quality of the game itself is really good. There are a few game mechanics that could be refined, but overall it is a pretty fun game to play with other people. Typically we play with house rules anyways on most games.

Awesome, thanks! My buddy and I play Zombies!!! so this looks like it could be a really good change of pace in the same field.

I had a brief fling with Target's WARZONE line a decade or so back. Mainly out of a love for the Mutant Chronicles setting.

I should snap some pics i guess.

When I was younger, I really enjoyed painting the lead figurines we used for D&D and RoleMaster.

I really have to dig them up again because I know they are just languishing at my mothers.

I initially just painted them in a "normal" way, but then I had a lot of fun when I moved on to adding a "wear and tear" look. Blood on the swords, blood and dirt on the clothing, custom coloured orcs, etc...I think the last I tried doing was facial expressions, tweaking eye brows and eyes for looks of surprise and anger. Lots of fun :)

I play Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 pretty regularly, though my painting is pretty horrible. When I go back home this weekend I'll try and snap some pictures to put up here. My vampire counts Varhgluf is about to eat an unsuspecting Tom Bombidil... I love conversions!

Been considering trying a few different miniature based games. I have always been a Zombie fan so I enjoy them. I have the Zombies!!! game too and have painted a few of those, but that will probably always be a work in process considering the number of them.

Biggest hurdle for me is finding people to play with. We have a local game shop but usually when I go in, most people are playing card based games. I have been eyeing picking up a copy of Arkham Horror though.

Arkham Horror is a lot of fun.

I have a bunch of D&D minis, Even painted a few myself. I have a warmaster army, and am working on my Uncharted Seas fleet (http://www.spartangames.co.uk/) and monsters.

Here are some pictures of miniatures I have done.

A friend painted this one.

That SAME friend, did this one as well. The top one, and this one were Christmas presents for people in our game.

This is one I did for Uncharted Seas.

You can see a few more pictures I did of miniatures in my Flickr Set (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ryfter/sets/72157612295118137/).

As for what I have... I try to list out my Miniatures games from time to time, and my head normally starts hurting. Quick list:
Warhammer 40k, Warhammer, Warmaster, Blood Bowl, Man o War, Battlefleet Gothic, Necromunda, Mordheim, Lord of the Rings (those are Games Workshop, alone) :-) Uncharted Seas, Battlestations (Mini/RPG), Warmachine, Starsiege: Rebellion (http://theminiaturespage.com/rules/scf/rebellion.html), Warzone, D&D minis, Star Wars Minis, Mage Knight/MK: Dungeons, Hero Clix, MechWarrior Clix, Battletech, Full Thrust. That is all I can think of right now. I have not played most of those in years. :-)

Warmaster! What a wonderful game. I wish it didn't die out before its time.

It is a specialist game (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/listProducts.jsp?catId=cat200212). It is still around. :-) I have not played in some time, though. Honestly, I have an Undead, Brettonian, and HUGE Empire army for Warmaster. :-)

Go to games-workshop, and then choose US. :-) That is what the link is based on.

The GW site is designed bass-ackwards and links to subpages don't work... but I'm sure I can find it if I dig around, now that I know it's there.

I've played most of my Warmaster games with paper cutouts, but I've got a small (750 point, I think) Dwarven army that actually turned out pretty well as far as the paint job goes. I'd definitely still be into it if anyone in my area actually played it.

As for the rest of my miniatures, I've got 2000 points of WFB Orks & Goblins, 1000 of Dark Elves, 1000 of Bretonnia, and 750 points of Tau & Kroot for 40k. For Lord of the Rings, about 50-60 Evil models, mostly Uruk-Hai with the goblins that came with Fellowship of the Ring.

Outside of GW, and most recently, I've been painting a full 1500 points of Flames of War Irish Infantry.

I do this mostly for the modeling and painting. I'm really anal about the quality of my paint jobs, so it takes me FOREVER to paint anything. I average about 2-3 hours per miniature when all is said and done.

I do NOT have that kind of patience. You would probably CRINGE to see my Warmaster paintjobs. :-) I like taking pictures... that is my kind of art.... the painting... not so bad... but even MY paintjob is far superior to plain metal or primer minis. :-)

Indeed it is!
