Moderators - Immortal Machines

We are in need of 1 or 2 moderators for the Immortal Machines sections. Please nominate who you'd think would be an excellent choice for moderating these PC Gaming forums. The moderators would also be charged with choosing which threads will be displayed on the Immortal Machines front page.

Nominations will last for 1 week, with a final poll selection that will be executed for 48 hours.

I moderated over at the Vault Network for over 5 years, so I couldn't have been too bad at it. Plus, I just recently stepped down (though they let me keep my cool colored name, hehe) so I'm actually "allowed" to volunteer at other sites now.

That's true and sad beyond belief, but we'll always have The Hot Spot. With any luck, her spirits will pick up and she'll start eating again... and then commit herself to cinema au naturale.

I would be personally willing to volunteer. I worked a bit at the old IM site before it sort of died, but there's a part of me that still would really like to do what he can to continue to try and foster a truly great forum for PC gaming, because God knows the Internet needs one.

I think it will be important in this new location now that we're all mixed up with everyone else, to have at least some moderator oversight to keep the sort of anti-PC trolling that lead to IM being founded in the first place from taking hold again.

That said, I'm a very big fan of very light, proscriptive moderation, so don't anyone get the idea I'd be stomping about in jackboots waving around the banhammer.
