I just got done watching this week's 1up show. It has a killer LittleBig Planet segment for all those interested. Also featured this week is Resident Evil 5 and WipeOut HD. Here's the link:

I think this is actually the only 1up podcast I don't follow. I listen to Retronauts, 1up Yours, 1up FM, GFW. I used to follow Legendary Thread back when I played wow.

I'm actually getting tired of all the LBP talk. Kinda like when Halo 3 talk was at its most frequent.

Resident Evil 5 is looking sweet. I like how the inventory is in realtime now, it was too easy to abuse the system in RE4.

Does anyone else like Broken Pixels (http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3158497)? I feel alone and immature for still loving Seanbaby.

Broken Pixels is awesome. Looks like they've decided to make it a more regular thing, which is nice.

RE5 is looking so hot. I want that yesterday. I liked the previous games well enough, but with the addition of co-op, it has become a must buy. It may not be a "horror" game anymore, but I'm going to get that out of Dead Space so I don't mind.

After watching the Wipeout HD part, I decided to get the game.

Their Mirror's Edge preview was terrific.

I love the 1up Show. Been watching it every friday since it was born in 2005. The only thing that I don't like about the show is that every season, like two or three people jump ship.

They had a great preview of LBP. I have not payed any attention to the info about the game at all so far, so it was new to me. Looked interesting and time consuming.

The LBP coverage in that episode was nice to see. At the same time, if you listen to that weeks accompanying 1UP Yours, you hear actual criticism and the issues they encountered so far. The 1UP show often is used more as a preview vehicle (with heavier editing and positive outlook), which is not to say that LBP is in any way bad, just be aware of the format that you're looking at though.

This is true. The only times on the show where there is criticism, is often when the game is nearly a year away from release. There are some exceptions (Metal Gear Solid 4), but Track is right. Though, I have yet to subscribe or listen to any of 1up's podcasts.

Well, to be fair the podcast expresses the views of a very few staff members on a variety of games, whereas the show is a wide variety of staff members on a few select games. The (overabundant) negativity on the podcast is due to the personalities involved, not because of any conscious editorial difference between the two formats.

Yes, I guess that's a more succinct way of putting it. :)

Phil has long hair.
Show also makes me want LBP, it does look fun.

I noticed that too. I did enjoy his opinion though.
