Just tried sending a PM and got an 'unhandled request' error page. I tried creating a new PM, same thing. Reply to an existing PM, same thing. What gives? It worked earlier today.

Server's been hiccuping today, the search function wasn't working for a bit. Wait a bit and try again.

I get the same error when my posts seem to be too long. Happened in my blog and now my blog is all cut up :(

I'll look into it.
In the meantime, take two of these (http://img48.imageshack.us/img48/3552/bhumorbugc52039105bbe5.gif) and get plenty of rest.

I wrote up a big thread last night (12 hours ago) and was previewing it every now and then to check formatting, and it was previewing fine.
When it came time for me to preview it one last time, I got the same error that Doc Set quoted.
I've been trying to preview/post the thread on and off now for the past 12 hours and am still getting the same error.
I've tried logging out/clearing cache etc and trying to remake the thread but none of that has worked.
Any clue if there's something I should be doing James or do I just need to wait it out?
Everyone in IRC said the server hiccups are done with so I'm just worried I'm missing something.

It's because you are all honored guests (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showpost.php?p=11094&postcount=52) now, you can't be bothered with such pedestrian features. Fear not, once you become Esteemed users you'll no longer have to worry about posting either.;)

I had this same problem a couple days ago, it seemed like once I crossed a certain length, the post wouldn't work. I cut it in half and then it seemed to work ok. I slowly then added pieces back in, trying to determine just what the character limit was, and magically the whole thing worked.

That had been my tactic the last few days, but now I cannot get it to work at all. It seems the length is different each time too.

Thanks for that, made the thread a bit less wordy and was able to post it.
Couldn't gradually add it all back in, though, or put it back in with the edit button, so I hope this is fixed in the future as the thread I was putting up wasn't THAT long...
