Remember the good ol' days when First Person Shooters were actually exciting and getting into new spectacular. When Tribes 2 came along it was one of the coolest games I had gotten my hands on since Tie Fighter. It was a game that for me was a lot more exciting than the Quake series. TribesNext isn't another game that is out to imitate Tribes 2, It is Tribes 2 but the community rebuilt the Tribes 2 with their own servers. Unfortunately Vivendi shut down the Tribes 2 servers back in November including a few other awesome games (See: Sierra Games Server Shutdown (http://forums.vgames.com/ann.jspa?annID=332)). I am very pleased that these enthusiasts started this project because T2 has been on my mind for the past few weeks seeing my old Tribes 2 disk, but haven't been able to play at all. So grab the download and join up and have a fun time playing "TribesNext"!
I have been busy around the holidays so forgive my absence in writing reviews for G4F. More Free Games will be coming soon! I promise.
