I've only played the PS3 version, but goddamn that is one gorgeous engine.

This was one in my top 5 Games of 2008. Everyone should play it as its presentation and game play are extremely well done.

Dark Sector played fairly well from my memory. It was not that unique feeling, as it was a cross between Resident Evil 4 and Gears of War in my mind... which is a bit like Chocolate and Peanut Butter.

Everyone should play this game if they can find it for ten bucks. I had lots of fun with it. Slowmo glaive decapitations are awesome. Multiplayer is pretty bad though.

I picked it up the other day when I went to Gamestop to grab Silent Hill. It was sitting on the shelf for $9.99 brand new, and I was like *what?!* :confused:

So I grabbed it. I couldn't believe they were selling it new for that price.

I rented it a while ago when it was new and got frustrated so I returned it. Now that I own it, I'll sink more time into it and give it a chance.

I just played it a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I think they could have put more puzzles in it to break the fighting up a bit but it was better than I was expecting (even though the hero looks about 12)!

The Bargain Basement Hunter Kelegacy has banged his drum about this game in the past. He's usually a great guide to cheap but good games. I have this sitting on my shelf too after buying it for cheap. I need to play this already.

It went bargin basement pretty quick. I g ave it a spin but just found it so frustrating and the controls seemed awful that I gave up. It did look very pretty though!

I picked it up a while back for cheap. Just recently started the game and it is ok. I do hate the time limit on any picked up weapons. I know they are trying to get me to use the blade, but damn. Give me the choice. I'll get back to it one of these days as long as nothing good comes out. Wish me luck.

Later in the game you can buy guns from a black market dealer that doesn't have the time limit on them.

Wow, so a year later and I finally got back around to this. I'm on the final boss fight now and I gotta say this was a sleeper hit for me. I'm loving this game!

Probably go back through it on Brutal for the last few achievements. :D

edit: actually it's been almost two years, this game sat on my shelf.

Give it a chance up to at least Chapter 3. Trust me, don't give up on it. I got frustrated with the controls at first, tried to get into 2-3 times and couldn't. Recently though, I actually played past Chapter 2, and I can't put it down. I just beat the final boss and am starting my second playthrough on brutal now. This game didn't get near enough praise, I'm having a blast with it!
