Hey, they just started playing Look Around You on Adult Swim, didn't they? That's kind of cool, since BBC America has decided that the only comedy they need is Graham Norton and the occasional bit of Monty Python or Little Britain.

I have to admit, I just found out about this. And I am like a MASSIVE Edgar Wright fan. I was thumbing through Entertainment Weekly, and saw that Edgar Wright was in an episode. I didn't know Pete from Shaun of the Dead came up with the whole thing (And someone left the door open...AGAIN!)

A little background for those of you who are not Brits born in the 70s.
This show is an excellent homage to 70s educational TV shows. The opening with the countdown to the show is exactly how those kind of shows used to start. As a child I remember sitting in a group at school and watching those countdowns to the start of some horribly patronising show.

They have got this show bang on. Even the title is very similar to a particular childrens show of that era.
It is even funnier if you remember shows like that.

I grew up on a US military base in Germany...We got awesome cartoon commercials and stuff, but no Beeb. :(

But, in the states we had Mr. Wizard, 321 Contact, and Powerhouse.

I don't know when series two came out, I don't think it was released when I watched all of the first 8 episodes online. It's great stuff, although from watching a cut-down version of one from series 2 I am inclined to say I prefer the first series.
