Hi Folks, hoping someone can help me out here.

I have a 46" Samsung LN-S4095D LCD TV connected to my PS3 via an HDMI cable. Got my copy of Iron Man (disabled the Blu-Ray internet connection) (1st blu-ray movie I got) and slapped it in...see Tony's chestpiece but it stops trying to connect a second or two later...then it drops to a black screen and my TV says "searching for signal" and then after a few seconds it states "no signal found".

Really at a loss as to what to do here. I tried resetting the video output settings and the PS3 recognized the HDMI connection and that didn't help. The HDMI cable I'm using was bundled w/ a DS3 controller & recharging cord so...yeah.

I think at this point you can just let it connect. It's supposedly fixed.

Well the issue w/ Tony's chestpiece sitting on the screen may be resolved, I'm puzzled as to why my TV and PS3 suddenly have this disconnect where the TV doesn't recognize a signal from the PS3.

I allowed it to connect and declined the updates and still the tv went "huh" and I got the "No Signal" error on my TV.

Also, as additional info, my PS3 is up to date on system updates.

Hey nevermind, found the solution on the PS3 forums...problem dealt w/ my TV being unable to handle the BD 1080p 24Hz output.

It's defaulted on automatic and once I turned it off, I didn't get the "Searching for Signal", "No Signal" messages anymore

Phew!
