Sooo...I just plugged in my controller to recharge it, when I noticed that Vista recognized it as a PS3 controller. Unfortunately, the buttons didn't work.

Seemed a little sketchy trying to find drivers, but I found some through DCEmu (simple registration required): Sixaxis_PS3_Win32_Driver_For_PC.rar (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=13008&d=1165434765)

Unpack the rar:

libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.10.1.exe
libusb0.dll
ps3sixaxis_en.exe

Now, more sketchiness...you run the libusb-win32-filter....exe and let it re-install some usb drivers for your machine. Then you run hte ps3sixaxis_en.exe and then press the power button on the controller and there you have it...

You know, just in case you want to use your PS3 controller on your machine through a USB connection. Personally, I'll most likely stick with my 360 wireless receiver and controller, but I thought this was something nifty that may help some people out there :)

that is pretty nifty.
I have to get me a long enough a/b usb cord and I'll finally be able to play that bionic commander game I bought ages ago.

I have yet to try this out, but when my gaming runs dry, I'll have it hooked up from some emulator action.
