It took me more than a day to realize I was seeing avatars - and that meant I could upload mine too! Halle-freaking-llujah! I can finally use the pic I formatted long ago for this very purpose! Thank you mods! There's even on-site storage for the avatar!

Crap - it was in the Lounge instead of the maintenance bay! Sorry man - I searched the "site feedback" section of the forum first, it didn't occur to me that some idiot would put it in the off topic forum!

As for the search button - I didn't think I would need it for a forum that was only a few days old - I did a quick visual perusal of the, seemingly, correct sub-forum and then started the thread up.
