Far Cry Level Select?

So after installing Windows 7, and thinking I had backed everything up, it turns out my Far Cry (the first one) save games have vanished into oblivion.

Not a huge deal, but the level select code (http://www.consolecheatcodes.com/pc/farcrylevelselectcheats.html) isn't working for me. I'm pulling up the console and using the map command, but no dice both in-game and in the menu. I know, I'm probably a retard, but can someone help me out?

Also, if anyone has a save game for the beginning of the Rebellion level (on easy :)) that would work too. ;)

Idk, the first game is quite long, I can see why you'd want your save files back.

Yeah, and I just got past halfway.

Found out the problem. You have to start the game with "-DEVMODE".

I knew it was something stupid. :)
