That looks so good. I really hope this recaptures the magic that SO2 had, 3 was such a letdown. Hopefully Infinite Undiscovery isn't an indication of the best TA can do on the newer consoles.

I know some people dislike CG cut-scenes, but Till the End of Time really had some beautiful ones that I enjoyed watching. I would honestly give this game a shot if this has something similar to those.

I'm going to be there Day 1. I feel like I'm the only one that legitimately enjoyed SO:TTEOT. Then again I didn't play the other ones.

Have I mentioned how much I love the auto-picture resizing this forum does?

And yes, this game looks awesome. It has a lot of potential to be a killer title.

Looks gorgeous. If the gameplay is as good as the game looks, I'm sold. I never played the SO or SO2, but enjoyed what I played of SO3 quite a bit. It wasn't perfect, but it was fun.

Does the Star Ocean series have a single story line or is it similar to the Final Fantasies in that I'll have no trouble if this is my first? I'm interested but I wasn't big into RPGs when the first Star Oceans came out so I never played them.

From what I've seen, there are connections but they are only important if you want to see how it all ties together. The game will have a story that stands alone.

As for Til The End of Time, I enjoyed the game as far as playing it went, but I didn't get very far because I felt that the camera was horrible when in towns. I couldn't see anything so I got lost constantly, and it made it really frustrating for me to play the game. If I can get past that (and I might try to do so again some day), then I could see myself really liking it.

That said, I am far more excited for Star Ocean on PSP.

I love the star ocean series.. Best part for me was the iron chef competition in 2. I really need to go back and finish both 2 and 3

I'm really looking forward to the PSP games, especially since I never got to play them before.

I played 3 some, but I didn't finish it, and I'm not sure how far I got into the game. I didn't hate what I played though, although it wasn't my favorite either. Those images look really good though, so I'll definitely be checking out this game along with the ones on PSP.

People have probably heard me bitch about this before, but I really did enjoy TtEoT right up until the plot twist made me hate it.

I haven't reached the plot twist, I played for about 20 hours or so, and then something else came out, and I played that. I probably should try playing it again.

This will be my first Star Ocean game since SNES. I never did finish that one either, so I'm hoping that this experience does well.
