Even though it's barely October, it seems that the holiday deals are coming early, at least when it comes to the Xbox 360. First off, here in the states, you are able to get your hands on an Xbox 360 60 Gigabyte Premium system for only $249! From Gizmodo: (http://gizmodo.com/5058736/dealzmodo-50-off-new-xbox-360-free-shipping)
If you've been looking to pick up a new Xbox 360 for the price of a Wii, this deal over at Dell is the way to go. Normally $300, put in promo code '7V2DJL$PD6NGWZ' at checkout and score a 60GB Xbox 360 Pro for $250. Put in promo code 'NP?CKPRH$KTWLL' and you will score a 120GB Xbox 360 Elite for $350. Both offers include free shipping and are good through October 6th. So cough up the cash and just buy one already, Mr. Cheapo.
On the other side of the pond, though, there are some even better deals when it comes to your Xbox 360. According to MCV (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/31934/Sainsburys-to-slash-360-to-under-100) a chain known as Sainsburys (http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/home.htm) is cutting the price of the Xbox 360 Arcade from £129.97 to £99, while the Xbox 360 Premium will be dropping from £169.97 to £139.97.
Thanks to Pathmaster for the Gizmodo post! This is certainly a great time to pick up a 360, especially with all the great games coming this fall.

This is tempting. I just dropped $215 on a G1 though, so I'll have to think about it some.

Went for an Android phone. May we get a review after some use?

You're not the first to ask, so I'd be glad to.
Doesn't get here til Oct 22, though, so it'll be a few weeks.

I'm almost in your boat Slacker. I'm very close to pre-ordering a G1 but after seeing this I may have to reconsider.

This is all well and nice for those who don't already own a 360. But I still need to find a nice, big 360 hard drive on the cheap. Which is something that will never happen. Ever.

Seconded. My Wing is getting a little long in the tooth. T-Mobile doesn't appear to be getting the other latest and greatest from HTC.

I need a new HDD thanks to Rock Band and my controller is on the way out as well, so that £140 premium looks very tempting.

Those are some nice prices - those who don't yet own 360s but are interested should be quite tempted. I don't need a replacement (crosses fingers) but hopefully if I ever do these prices will still be around.

If you like using HTC phones (I love them personally) you can always order an unlocked one and use it on Tmo's network.

I pointed my roommate to this, looks like he is picking one up soon.

But they cost so much more.

I just wish the Wii would do a price drop... and actually be available locally somewhere. I already have a 360 but I'd like to Wii it up as well.

I tried picking up a 60 GB but the website is getting an error saying "We're sorry, the coupon code you have entered has previously been redeemed." Looks like they killed the deal. :( I'm not sure if the 120 GB deal is still working or not.

If you want an Elite, I found this over at Gizmodo (http://gizmodo.com/5059663/dealzmodo-80-off-xbox-360-elite):
Remember that deal from last week where you could save $50 on a new Xbox Elite at Dell? Well, I really hope you didn't listen to us. Because this week—today only, actually—you can save $80 on an Elite at Dell. Enter the code 'NP?CKPRH$KTWLL' at checkout and knock the price down to $320 (with free shipping). If you did listen to us last week and paid a bit more for an Elite, make sure to hop in your time machine and punch us in the face. It probably won't prevent anything but it might make you feel a bit better.
Dell site for the Elite version of the Xbox 360 (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?sku=A1139433&cs=19&c=us&l=en&dgc=CJ&cid=24471&lid=566643).

Someone needs to send Microsoft a memo that there is more the Wii is beating them on than just price. And with Blu-Ray sales completely stagnant, there is more than just price keeping Sony at bay.

Dell's Store, you get $30 off the Xbox 360 Arcade ($169), $50 off the Pro ($250) or $70 off the Elite ($330).
