NXE breaks 360 BC?

None of my Xbox 1 games are working. Can't remember the last time I played them, but it was ages ago, before the NXE. They all say the same thing after starting them:

The game could not start. Please download the game again.

Are you signed into LIVE at the time? I've heard of a similar problem that is remedied by signing out of LIVE if you're running a game from disc.

I recently played Panzer Dragoon Orta and Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. Both worked fine. I get automatically signed off of Live when I start them though, but if I remember correctly that's normal?

Yeah, it'll sign you out to play Xbox games from the disc.

For Disgustipated, maybe you need to download the emulation stuff again (it happened to me before). If it's not prompting you automatically, you can download the update here (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardscompatibilityredirect.htm), burn it to a disc and put it into your X360 for a manual update.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory wasn't in the list until it came out in the Xbox Originals. I have a small feeling that they add games to the BC list but don't tell anyone about it.

Don't know when. I got it sometime in summer, it worked then.

Yeah, I think this is true. I bought Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory about two years ago and it ran fine at that time.
