Midway has released a bunch of new screenshots for Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe as well as the final box art for the game. The fighting game will be in stores on November 10th.

What does balancing gameplay matter when you have fanboyism? Throw that shit out!

The game would be so much more fun if he simply killed 99% of the cast in one punch...right? ;)

If people want to get all worked up over that logic, then every char in SC4 should have killed each other with one swing. :D
They tried the "we're going for realism" approach with Bushido Blade...sure, it was cool for 5 minutes...then you realized how ass the game was.

Cool idea...in theory. Made for a boring, uninteresting game though.

I'm looking forward to this game though, for mostly the same reasons as others.

I didn't find Bushido Blade boring. Ok, back when it came out I did. But after so much circle jerking around it from some of the guys, I gave it a try again on my PSP. It's almost like Two World's. It's bad to look at but alot of good can be seen in it. I could see a next gen game like that with a little more flash.

I really liked the idea. It added a lot of urgency to fights. It's been a long time since I played it, so maybe I could appreciate it more now, but at the time I was very underwhelmed by the actual gameplay.

Now if they could revamp that idea, I would gladly check it out.

You guys are fucking insane. Bushido Blade was awesome, fun to play, and full of depth. It might be boring to run around spamming, but once you get a feel for it, it is amazing.

Sure it isn't a "smash them 100 times in the face" traditional brutality, but Supes looking really pissed sold it for me. I would be lying if I said I didn't expect a little more on the attacking part though. I give it a B.

I never really got the appeal of MK. The games control like crap, and look like crap. The only real appeal is the ultra violence, which gets old fast. If you are in it for the game, there are much better ones out there.

The Joker's fatality was awesome! And the superheroes Brutalities are specifically not meant to be like Fatalities, because they're good and not meant to kill people. Unless I missed an old MK game have Brutalities as well. I personally like that 'Babality' feature in UMK3. Amusing.

So I have to go back and re-up the images to the FTP manually, then change the post to point to the new image. Not exactly fun work.

A bunch of it looks so gimmicky. Free fall fighting, In close fighting, beh. Rage mode isn't anything new but it's handled pretty cool.

I kinda like the mini games as long as they come as a natural part of play and don't take away from the flow of the game. If they manage to fit in then they look like a really fun part of the game, something to change up a fight a little. If they detract from the overall game then they'll be horrible. Based on what Scott said about them not being constant then I think they'll make the game even more awesome.
