I really hope this happens. I love Ikaruga, and never had the chance to play Radiant Silvergun. A XBLA update would change that.

More Treasure shooters is always a good thing. i mean, if the can put up R-Type (talk about aged) then why not RS.

The one feature about Live Arcade that I enjoy the most is the updates to these older titles. I'm not interested in buying a ROM that could be had for free on PC (moral objections aside). I like the additional features, cleaned up graphics, etc..

Bring this one, and others, on and on! :)

Please, please, PLEASE bring Radiant Silvergun to XBLA. I don't care if it's a straight port, it's such a bad-ass game that it NEEDS to be on XBLA. Also, Guardian Heroes with 4-player online co-op.

True story. I played this game on my Saturn, displayed on an LCD projector. We rotated the projector, and made a 12' high display of Radiant Silvergun. It was mighty.

I don't know what that Treasure guy is talking about. Clearly they aren't a good judge of their own game. In my opinion, Radiant Silvergun is a far, far superior game to Ikaruga. It was a lot more precise in terms of level design and not as erratic.

And you guys with all your talk of Guardian Heroes are just settting me up for disappointment. I don't think MS would let it go up as is because the sprites are pretty rough. And there is no way they could quickly clean it up, it would require a lot of work. I absolutely adore the game and it is probably one of my favorite games of all time. I have beaten it at least 20 or 30 times. But I just don't see a Live release as anything more than an impractical pipe dream.
