Zune frozen on startup screen

So my Zune 30 was working fine last night. I wake up to take it with me to my car, and it's stuck on the startup screen, and has been for an hour now. None of the reboot button combos work, and it doesn't respond to plugging it into the dock or my computer. I go to the Zune forums, and everybody is having the same problem, all at the same time, which is ridiculously epic since the support forums are filled with people complaining about their Zune 30s. What's the deal??

I just unplugged it and am going to let the battery go completely dead and see what that does for me.

Yeah, that's what I'll be doing. This really sucks, because my Zune gets some pretty heavy usage throughout the day.

Now this is fucked up. Mine was like that this morning too. I pulled it out of the dock and it seemed to have tried to restart at one point overnight, which it's still been randomly restarting on it's own sometimes, and it just locked up.

I don't think its anything like something that they pushed out overnight that did it since you have to use the sync cable to update the firmware. I sync mine wirelessly.

Its likely that the problem stems from the last update as I saw a couple comments in the support forums by people who were still using older firmware and were unaffected.

I'm also getting a few reports from the official forums that the Zune 80s may be affected as well. This is a massive shitstorm.
