It's cool and all, I just been hearing talk about the sites being unified or something from a variety of posters. Bapenguin talked to me a month ago about it but I hadn't heard anything since.

So, what's the purpose of Colony of Gamers? Is it going for a unified gaming site?

I hope so! You have a great site, Co-Op is a great site, PiRi is a great site, but I don't want to lurk on three different sites.

The other sites will still be around, so you may have to lurk. I know it might suck, but we want the mantra to be "no site left behind" here.

Each site outside of CoG serves a purpose. CO for co-op gaming, Piri for user reviewing of games, IM for pc gaming, etc.

You have to have 25 posts before you can do a blog. It's to keep the riff-raff out (like a new user coming in and going bonkers right off the bat), we figured people would have 20 posts in no time just with the "new digs" and talk about it.

The ability to blog should automatically apply when you make 25 posts. If it is not doing that, no one broke anything, it just isn't working properly.

I believe it could be that it only runs the task to upgrade people once an hour. I can change it and see what happens. Actually.. I can't change that, because this thing is evil.

Hey there, nice to know we're going to have a new place to call home. Place looks nice and tidy and smells like fresh paint!

Hope it all works out for the best. I think its a stroke of genius to have a common forum for all the sites that EvAv refugees have been bunking as of late. Good for the community, good for the sites, good for all.

Yeah, I'm also actually quite excited about this place. I can't wait for everyone else to join.

And regarding the costume, I'll only put up pictures if it turns out okay. My Chun-Li costume was fantastic, but I didn't have much time to get ready, so I looked kind of bad. There was an awesome Yuffie running around at PAX, and I don't think mine's going to turn out as well.

Carmen Sandiego is a badass costume! I think you'll bring back a lot of memories for people who played the game or watched that ridiculous show.

(Random note: When I was little and played the Carmen Sandiego game, I remember my cousin laughing because there was a hint about the Isle of Lesbos.)

Also, I just told my boyfriend about your costume idea, and he said it'd be funny if you went with out that night with someone who dressed up as Waldo. I feel like you'd be getting a lot of, "I've FOUND you"s. :D
