I actually did a search and didn't see any truly relevant threads on this yet so I'm curious if anyone owns this phone and what they think? I know about the battery life or lack there of but my contract is up on the 2nd, and I'm going to be most likely buying this phone as I enjoy the feel of it and what it can do but I was looking for peoples opinions.

So, does anyone have one? Related to this phone anyway. I'm sure people have opinions.

I've been watching this phone for some time now. It seems to be a definitive HTC phone. I own the HTC 6800 or Sprint Mogul at the moment - which can run a SNES/GBA emulator, so I can't wait to get a newer model with more RAM. My choices for phones in the coming months will either be this or the Sony Xperia 1 (another great HTC phone). The best thing to do with these phones though is wait to see if there is going to be a revision. That way, stuff like battery life is worked out.

Nope. I was going to get one but then I realised I didn't need the keyboard so opted for it's smaller sibling, the Touch Diamond. They're both very similar beasties though.

The keyboard I think is the make or break for me. I just enjoy having a full keyboard as an option. As is, a friend I worked with had the Mogol for a long time, which is what originally drew me to it, then I saw this one come out and I was flat out sold.

I had the The Mogul/6800/Titan which I liked but the thing was bulky and slow. I was waiting for the Touch Pro but I was too impatient and bought the Diamond instead. I love the diamond, but I do miss my full keyboard. I was much faster.

I'm thinking I might just buy a Touch Pro on ebay. If I sell both my old mogul and diamond on ebay I think I'll be somewhat close to breaking even.

Just saw this. I bought a Touch Pro after drooling over it for months. I decided I can live with the battery life, and so far it's only died on me once, and that was because I didn't charge it out of the box and fiddled with it all night.

I love this damn phone, and the keyboard is great. It's comfortable to use, and has almost the full range of a standard qwerty (it takes one press to access some symbols, but it's great how all of the number keys symbols correspond with their qwerty counterparts (I don't know if that's something to be excited about, but my last phone with a keyboard was abysmal)). I'm still working on finding out good software and games for it, though. Wish it had it's own blogging site like DSFanboy or something. Oh well.

Let me know if you have questions and I'll do my best to answer them.

Have you put Android on it yet? :)

Nope. Next question.

In a related topic, I'm having a bitch of a time finding games for this damn thing. Sure, I've always kind of looked at cell phone games as a waste of time, but now I have a GOOD Phone. Like, I know people will grab Windows Mobile and throw it into a death roll, but surely there has to be some decent games for it that utilizes the touch screen?

Oh, and I already have ScummVM for it, so adventure games are covered. Same with emulators.
