Possibly the first time I've ever seen the console versions cheaper than the PC one.

I really want to try FC2 but there's too much on the plate at the moment :(

I might have to snag Farcry 2.

Yeah, I might need to get Far Cry 2 as well. Heard great things about it, and the open world design is right up my alley.

I still have about $30 credit too, I think. This will be mine.

Well, several places have been selling Prince of Persia PC for $30 since launch (I got mine from TRU, I know Walmart was doing the same), so Gamestop is just more expensive than the competition on that one. ;)

Thanks for the heads-up on this fitty (just realized you weren't JAYoung anymore!! Holy cow). I am going to order Far Cry right now. I just can't pass that up. It was cheaper on black friday I think, around $30, but not at Gamestop where I have credit.

Very tempted to get Far Cry 2. I honestly don't know much about the game aside from that it's a sandbox first-person shooter, but I want to give it a shot. (Get it? Shot?)

Some people rave about it, some people rant about it. I figure the open nature of the game will be the main draw for me. I just love getting lost in a huge, free world.

Killing people is just icing on the cake.

Hope I'm not late but if you get the used version with a edge card and this coupon (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=191838), you'd get PoP for $30. Damn near like new.

Actually you can get it cheaper. Enter CAG16 (CAG=CheapAssGamer) in the field and you can save 16% extra on used purchases. Use SAVER for free shipping over $25 (mine shipped really friggin' fast...it arrived yesterday and i ordered it on Monday or Tuesday) or FREESHIP for overnight on orders $50 or more.

The deals fluctuate in and out, sometimes they aren't compatible with other codes, but I was able to use SAVER, CAG16 and my edge card to get Far Cry for $26.xx. I felt a bit bad because it was the used version, but I had credit to burn and it was nearly $15 cheaper.

I like to go see it. I normally turn down crappy looking disc.

Yeah, there's always the chance of that, but of course it's all guaranteed. The worst part is getting a bad case (or NO case). I haven't had bad luck yet with them, but I know some people have. My copy of Far Cry 2 looked pristine. Of course my NEW copy of Fuel of War was OPENED because Gamestop is a bunch of assholes--but I got it for cheap so I didn't care.

My copy of Two Worlds was supposed to be the normal edition but they sent me that bigger (and heavier) collector's edition. Happy about that.

Have fun with Two Worlds.

Oh, I am. Really. I haven't played it for the last week, but I am having a good time adventuring currently. I've been doing the gather-loot-sell-back-to-merchants thing for a while and racked up quite a bit of cash. Those portable teleports are awesome.

Really like the game, surprised that I would this much.

Far Cry 2 is really tempting for that price.

I wish it was possible to turn the enemies off in FC2. I'd love to just drive around without getting interrupted by random enemy patrols.

Far Cry 2 for $40? Done.

I haven't enjoyed it too much since I bought it through this deal as well. I actually stopped playing after a few hours. I'll try to get back to it in the future, but this does NOT feel like Far Cry. I was hoping the open world stuff would be more fun.

For what it's worth, the first few hours are shite - it does pick up when you're let off the leash.

I got a couple of gift cards still from Christmas so I would probably be picking up Prince of Persia.

The demo for End War didn't really impress me that much. Then again, I'm not really a real time strategy fan.

Far Cry 2 was a good 25 hours of amazing fun for me. I would definitely suggest it for under 50$.

I beat Prince of Persia in a weekend and will probably never go back to it. I wouldn't pay that much for it personally but I guess at $40 it's okay for some people. You can probably trade it in for a small loss or resell it for around what you paid.
