The title is self-explanatory - what add-ons would you recommend Firefox users install?
I'll go with:
1. Adblock - Blocks Flash ads
2. CoolIris Preview - preview images in realtime without clicking the link
3. Interclue - same as above, but for web pages
4. ReminderFox - I forgot.
NOTE - I'm thinking more of Extensions than Themes, so keep that in mind.

Gmail Manager
ForecastFox Enhanced - weather with radar
FoxyTunes - music player controller on the toolbar
Image Toolbar - replicates the popup toolbar that IE6/7 has for images.
Morning Coffee - at the click of a button, loads up all the pages that you set to view for that day. Great for webcomics that update on specific days.

I am currently using the following on my work PC.
-----
Adblock Plus - See above.
BugMeNot - Provides logins for some web sites, for when you don't want to register.
Download Statusbar - Lists your downloads on a statusbar at the bottom of the screen.
Flashblock - Prevents Flash from loading automatically. You can click on an icon to display the Flash element when you want. Makes it so that I don't accidentally blast sound in the office when viewing a Flash page, and has prevented many a Rick Roll.
IE Tab - Uses an embedded IE engine within Firefox. Useful for viewing pages that do not support Firefox.
Resizable Textarea - Allows you to change the size of text boxes.
Tab Scope - Allows you to preview the contents of a tab by mousing over it.
Web Developer - Adds a menu of web developer tools.
Woot Watcher - Tracks the deals on woot.com, and displays them in the bottom corner of your window. Infinitely helpful during woot offs.
-----
I have a slightly different set of extensions at home.

Ubiquity.
It does everything
http://labs.mozilla.com/2008/08/introducing-ubiquity/
Lets you map and insert maps anywhere; translate on-page; search amazon, google, wikipedia, yahoo, youtube, etc.; digg and twitter; lookup and insert yelp review; get the weather; syntax highlight any code you find; and a lot more. Ubiquity “command list” to see them all.
click spoiler to see whole list.. its long, might be ugly and broken too, I copied it from the "command list"
# add-to-calendarAdds an event to your calendar.
Currently, only works with Google Calendar, so you'll need a Google account to use it. Try issuing "add lunch with dan tomorrow".
# amazon-searchSearches Amazon for books matching your words.
# answers-searchSearches Answers.com for the given words.
# ask-searchSearches Ask.com for the given words.
# boldIf you're in a rich-text-edit area, makes the selected text bold.
# bugzillaSearches Bugzilla for Mozilla bugs matching the given words.
# calculateCalculates the value of a mathematical expression.
Try it out: issue "calc 22/7 - 1".
# check-calendarChecks what events are on your calendar for a given date.
Currently, only works with Google Calendar, so you'll need a Google account to use it. Try issuing "check thursday".
# close-related-tabsCloses all open tabs that have the given word in common.
# close-tabCloses the tab that matches the given name.
# command-editorTakes you to the Ubiquity command editor page.
# command-listTakes you to the page you're on right now.
# convertConverts a selection to a PDF, to rich text, or to html.
# defineGives the meaning of a word.
Try issuing "define aglet"
# deleteDeletes the selected chunk of HTML from the page.
# diggIf not yet submitted, submits the page to Digg. Otherwise, it takes you to the story's Digg page.
by Sandro Della Giustina - licensed as MPL,GPL
View more information at http://www.gialloporpora.netsons.org.
# ebay-searchSearches EBay for auctions matching the given words.
# edit-pagePuts the web page into a mode where you can edit the contents.
In edit mode, you can edit the page like any document: Select text, delete it, add to it, copy and paste it. Issue 'bold', 'italic', or 'underline' commands to add formatting. Issue the 'save' command to save your changes so they persist even when you reload the page. Issue 'stop-editing-page' when you're done to go back to the normal page viewing mode.
# emailBegins composing an email to a person from your contact list.
Currently only works with Google Mail, so you'll need a GMail account to use it. Try selecting part of a web page (including links, images, etc) and then issuing "email this". You can also specify the recipient of the email using the word "to" and the name of someone from your contact list. For example, try issuing "email hello to jono" (assuming you have a friend named "jono").
# escape-html-entitiesReplaces html entities (<, >, and &) with their escape sequences.
# evav-newSearches Evilavatar for new posts
by Zrikz - licensed as MPL
# evilavatarSearches Evil Avatar for terms matching the given words.
by Zrikz - licensed as MPL
# flickrSearches Flickr for pictures matching your words.
# get-email-addressLooks up the email address of a person from your contacts list given their name.
# googleSearches Google for your words.
# helpTakes you to the Ubiquity main help page.
# herd
# highlightHighlights your current selection, like this.
# imdbSearches the Internet Movie Database for your words.
# italicIf you're in a rich-text-edit area, makes the selected text italic.
# last-emailDisplays your most recent incoming email. Requires a Google Mail account.
# link-to-wikipediaTurns a selected phrase into a link to the matching Wikipedia article.
Can only be used in a rich text-editing field.
# mapTurns an address or location name into a Google Map.
Try issuing "map kalamazoo". You can click on the map in the preview pane to get a larger, interactive map that you can zoom and pan around. You can then click the "insert map in page" (if you're in an editable text area) to insert the map. So you can, for example, type an address in an email, select it, issue "map", click on the preview, and then insert the map.
# map-theseMaps multiple selected addresses or links onto a single Google Map. (Experimental!)
# msn-searchSearches MSN for the given words.
# neweggSearches Newegg for items matching the given words.
by Zrikz - licensed as MPL
# redoRedoes your latest style/formatting or page-editing changes.
# remove-annotationsResets any annotation changes you've made to this page.
# saveSaves edits you've made to this page in an annotation.
# searchSearch using your installed search engines
# sparklineGraphs the current selection, turning it into a sparkline.
by Aza Raskin - licensed as MIT
Select a set of numbers -- in a table or otherwise -- and use this command to graph them as a sparkline. Don't worry about non-numbers getting in there. It'll handle them.
# stop-editing-pageIf you used the 'edit page' command to put the page into editable mode, use this command to end that mode and go back to normal page viewing.
# syntax-highlightTreats your selection as program source code, guesses its language, and colors it based on syntax.
# tabSwitches to the tab that matches the given name.
# tagAdds a tag to describe the current page
by Dietrich Ayala - licensed as MPL/GPL/LGPL
View more information at http://autonome.wordpress.com/.
# tinyurlReplaces the selected URL with a TinyUrl
# translateTranslates from one language to another.
You can specify the language to translate to, and the language to translate from. For example, try issuing "translate mother from english to chinese". If you leave out the the languages, Ubiquity will try to guess what you want. It works on selected text in any web page, but there's a limit to how much it can translate at once (a couple of paragraphs.)
# twitterSets your Twitter status to a message of at most 160 characters.
You'll need a Twitter account, obviously. If you're not already logged in you'll be asked to log in.
# undeleteRestores the HTML deleted by the delete command.
# underlineIf you're in a rich-text-edit area, underlines the selected text.
# undoUndoes your latest style/formatting or page-editing changes.
# view-sourceShows you the source-code of the web page you're looking at.
# weatherChecks the weather for a given location.
Try issuing "weather chicago". It works with zip-codes, too.
# wikipediaSearches Wikipedia for your words, in a given language.
by Blair McBride - licensed as MPL
View more information at http://theunfocused.net/moz/ubiquity/verbs/.
# word-countDisplays the number of words in a selection.

# youtubeSearches YouTube for videos matching your words.
# zipzoomflySearches Zipzoomfly for items matching the given words.
by Zrikz - licensed as MPL
# zoomZooms the Firefox window in or out.

When I was working I had to do alot of work troubleshooting HTML and such. I found FireBug to be a great extension for that sort of thing. Makes it very easy to identify what HTML and CSS, etc. is being used where.

Awesome thread. I recently switched from IE (I know, I know) after a short stint with Chrome. Setup a few addons from this thread and its working real good.
A couple I found.
FireFTP - integrated FTP client
Gmail Monitor - Quick access to email, notifications, etc.

For me there is only one required plug in.
Foxmarks - Keeps all my bookmarks in sync with both my desktop and laptop. Then I also tend to reformat my computer often so when I get windows up and running I've got all my bookmarks perfectly organized and waiting. I've tried to switch to other browsers in the past, but it is simply impossible for me to do without foxmarks.
I am going to give stumbleupon a try though.

Adblock plus as everybody said. It blocks ads :D
Greasemonkey, which shockingly no one has said. It allows userscripts to run, modifying and enhancing websites you like. there can be whole another thread about favorite scripts.
Better GReader and Goggle Reader Notifier. For poeple, like yours truly who use google reader for RSS feeds.
Ubiquity. If you're guy who has never used a mac, like me, you'll know what those freaks rave about quicksilver. very nifty thingamajig
Fire Gestures and Speed Dial. mouse gestures and front page modified to be like opera.
Nodobe viewer. uses the vuzit viewer for viewing documents file(pdfs, docs, etc.) you don't want to download. Requires vuzit free registration.
EDIT: These addons make Firefox a resource hog.

I'm sure there's a script out there called NoRiley, which warns you of any threads our very own Riley has commented on. Then, it's up to you to decide if you want to continue.

ACtually, there is such a plugin. It's called FFVB, and it works on more than just Riley, and goes a step farther by irradicating all presence of a given poster from the site.
