My lovely wife just gave birth to our first child. We named him Simon. He was born at 6lbs 11oz and is 19 and 3/4 inches long.

Was so psyched that I had to share. :D

To all of you that are expecting; wow! What an awesome experience it was! I can't wait to see what the future holds for the little guy.

Congrats! It's the most amazing experience you'll ever have. Now get to work on a little brother/sister, no kid wants to be an only child! ;)

Thanks Guys!

Most people seem to like the name "Simon."

Just so long as it doesn't remind anyone of American Idol or the Chipmunks, he should be good to go. :D

Congrats! He's already in a bit of a Buddha stance there. And I concur on the name. Just make sure you've got the time/stamina to make Alvin and Theodore happen too.

EDIT: And beaten to the Chipmunks by mere seconds. Well played.

Congrats dude! AW he's so cute!

And I know what you're going through, I felt the same way when my twin daughters were born.

One piece of advice: kiss sleep goodbye, and expect to game less.

Congrats to you too! As you get closer to the end of the pregnancy, the waiting is the hardest part.

Congrats! It's the most amazing experience you'll ever have. Now get to work on a little brother/sister, no kid wants to be an only child! ;)

The plan is to have #2 in about 2 years. #3 is still up for debate at the Cyndair household.

Congrats dude! AW he's so cute!

Twins?! Aw man... learning the ropes with one newborn is hard enough. I can't imagine two simultaneously. I've already given up on the sleep thing. Having a harder time letting go of the gaming time. :p

Congrats! He's absolutely adorable!

Hey, now that I can deal with! I loved Shaun of the Dead!

What's funny is that I quoted you and I still didn't even catch that. Maybe us parents lose a certain percentage of our brain power to all the goo goos, gah gahs, and ridiculous faces that we make.
