Another very light week from DC, while Marvel is unleashing a shotgun full of win at me.
DC

Marvel
Amazing Spider-Man #581
Avengers The Initiative #19
Dark Reign New Nation
Deadpool #5
Invincible Iron Man #8
Mighty Avengers #20
Thor God-Sized #1
Thunderbolts #127
Uncanny X-Men #505
X-Factor #38
X-Men Legacy #219

Buffy The Vampire Slayer #20
Doktor Sleepless #10
Impaler #1
Star Trek The Next Generation Last Generation #2
Picks of the Week
Invincible Iron Man #8 - After spending the last few years as the most important, most powerful hero in the Marvel U, Iron Man has been broken by the Secret Invasion. The world at large blames him for the horrors the Skrulls inflicted, and now Tony has to watch as Norman Osborne takes the reigns of power. Yeah, Tony has been a little overexposed this past year, and this book is supposed to show the consequences of that exposure.
Impaler #1 - I know, I know: another Vampire comic (Vamps are the new Zombies). But this one just sounds cool. Millions of Vampires took over New York, so in desperation the humans nuked the city. But it didn't stop the infestation. The only hope for humanity rests in the hands of Vlad the Impaler. Now tell me that doesn't sound cool.
Question of the Week - In this week's solicitations a pair of old school style crossovers were announced: X-Force and Cable fighting the Messiah War, while Deadpool crosses swords with the Thunderbolts. In this day and age of mega events, smaller crossovers like this can still be a blast. So, what "smaller" crossover would you like to see in the near future?
