I had the same problem. I'm glad they made everything so much user friendly.

A quick google search found this old thread. I spent about 10 minutes last night looking through menus trying to figure out how to change my stupid theme.

Talk about making it as unintuitive a possible.

More ad space though, and that is what really matters

Really though, the NXE sucks... hard. I don't know why people spend so much time complaining about those fucking avatars, they're the least of it's problems.

How so? You go to the channel that handles your options. All your options are there.

Under the blade system you had to hit Guide, then change it from there. How was THAT really intuitive?

No, the System Settings tab is where you set many of your options. That is where I first looked. After that, I hit the Guide button, and I flicked over to the tab on the blade menu labeled, "Settings." Again, one would think that something that says "Settings" would be where you'd change your settings. So, I fuck around there for a while, go to my Profile there on the blades menu, Edit Profile, oops, not there. Preferences? Nope, not there. Family settings, maybe? Your choice in themes might effect your family. Nope, not there either. System Settings? No, that just links back to the System Settings tab from the NXE menu.

Eventually, someone told me that it was the window in the NXE menu with my avatar on it, which lists my gamerscore and achievements. I guess that must be super obvious to you, but to me, I figured that would just lead to a menu to navigate through my achievements. I would have expected my settings to be in one of the areas labeled as "Settings."
