Honorable mention for PlayStation Home, the world's best MMO fellatio/dance simulator.

I protest this award on the grounds City of Heroes/Villains is not included.

even if i've not had a chance to stick with it warhammer is the first mmo since WoW to be... well... good. The WoW expatiation simply hasnt been able to tempt me back for some reason so that loses

I've never subscribed to or played an MMO in my life, so I won't vote in this category.

I voted EVE.

I played, and enjoyed, WAR a great deal, but to be flatly honest I started getting very frustrated with the population imbalances between factions/tiers, imbalances that ultimately deprived one of the joy that was a number of the game's coolest features.

Overall, I had more fun in my time on EVE.

This is a tough category, as both WAR and Lich King add a lot to the MMO genre (seriously, if you haven't experienced a Public Quest in WAR or Phasing in WoW, you're missing out), but ultimately I had to go with my hometown boys at Mythic.

Glad to see EVE made the list.

My vote goes to WAR.

Since patch 1.1 Open RvR has really become a blast. Sure, PvE is a bit lacking right now, but to be honest... this game is all about PvP!

(If you want an enjoyable experience in WAR, join the Dark Crag Open RvR server. Lots of activity there. Almost always some RvR happening in Tier 3. Oh, and Ebonlore plays destruction... so join order :P)

I voted for WAR, even though I am playing WOW right now. As Lich King is just more WOW, while WAR had new ideas about how a game should work.

Even though I didn't stick with it for very long, WAR gets my vote because, well, I stuck with it longer than I stuck with WoW.

Turbine gets my vote. Legendary items that gain experience and can be slotted FTW. Plus there's the whole realizing-Tolkiens-world bit.

This feels like Sophie's Choice :(

I chose WAR, I have been its cheerleader so long that it is only fitting. I am still playing the game and running a Destruction guild. Even with that 'responsibility' I am having a great time, and since the last patch? Its been great.
