We don't really talk about iphone/touch games around here. I for one do a lot of gaming on the platform. I average a game a week and at the low prices, most games are a steal. On top of that, you always have your phone on you and now that it's a viable gaming platform, you can pretty much game anywhere without carrying around a separate piece of electronics for games.
My most recent find on the app store is Dropship. It's a bit like Geometry wars both in gameplay and look. It's by far one of the best iPhone games I have played. I immediately thought, when I played it, that it would be right down a lot of CoG members ally.
Anyone else play games on their iPhone/Touch? What games have you been playing? I've also been playing Dr. Awesome, Fieldrunners, Antimatter and Rescue Angels 500.

I play occasionally. Currently I spend a lot of time with Galcon, which is a small, fast paced strategy game.
What's the price on Dropship? I may check it out. I haven't gotten into too many games for the iPhone yet.

Galcon is great for short bursts, which the iPhone is great for. When my girlfriend says "I just want to look in this shop", I know it's time to bust out GalCon. ;)

Dropship is 1.99
The makers of it are ex EA employees who started their own company. So far all of the games they have put out have been quality and very fun besides their first one which was free called MazeFinger. Before the holidays they are putting out a game called Rolando which is highly anticipated , it's sort of like Loco Roco from what they are saying. Looks fun to me. I think these guys are going to be premiere developers for the platform actually.
The trend lately has been towards lower prices and higher volume. Many times I just buy a game because it's cheap and it ends up not being all that great. But when it's only .99 it doesn't hurt the wallet that much.

I do that at work! Every half hour or so I fire up a game for a quick play. I think that is going to be what the iphone is best for actually. I'm not against long adventure games or anything...I just think the greatest thing about this platform is that I can fire up a game of Angel Rescue 500 for a quick 5 min play. Hell, I was even playing it in traffic the other day!
