Hey everyone,
A friend of mine told me about a new game, called Uncharted Seas. It looks pretty cool. As he said, it is like the venerable Man O War. If you have played both, do they stack up ok against each other? MoW is one of my all-time favorite miniatures games. I even have "GASP" PAINTED MINIS for it! :-)
Thanks for any reviews on this.

So, since it didn't look like anyone knows much about this game, I thought I would update this topic. It seems to be very popular here in Boise. As in, the gamestore gets 2-3 copies, and they sell out immeidatley. The base of players in increasing to a sustainable level, which is good. The minis look ok. I don't know I would say great... but definately good. It seems to be a bit on the expensive side, here in the US.
More information can be found at their site (http://www.spartangames.co.uk/#/unchartedseas/).
I am kind of excited to try this game out. I haven't played much in the way of a miniature game for a year or two now.
That actually looks really cool and definitely something I'd be willing to check out. Unfortunately, the only person in my circle of friends that is interested in anything similar to this is myself. I can occasionally get someone to play a game of Zombies!!! but even then, it typically turns out to only be two of us which makes it much less interesting.
I'm sure I could hit up a local comic shop or even a game shop to see if there are any people or groups that get together to play, but I'm terrible at being social. I generally don't have the patience to hang out with people I don't know especially in that type of environment. I'd be able to play the game but wouldn't be able to have a good time doing it.
I need to get out more but I don't really want to :). Either way, cool find. Maybe I can convince my brother/nephews to pick it up so we have something to play when I'm down to visit.

Well, I think that my girlfriend got me this game for Christmas... so I am looking forward to checking it out. :-)
Let me know what you think if it turns out she did. I've played maybe two games of Warhammer and liked what I played. A buddy and I got into Hero Clix something fierce when we were in college and if this ends up being a good two player experience along with being fairly inexpensive, I might have to give this a good hard look.
I'm regulated to two-player experiences these days unless my wife and I have people over and only then can I sometimes bust out Cranium :).

From what I understand, the game shines more in 1v1. BUT... I now have a Dragon Lords fleet, and rules... so I will be able to get a better idea soon. I also got a new set of dice, to use in the game! :-) Oh yea, I also got Gears of War 2.... terrific girlfriend. :-)
