Doing the news for a gaming site, I tend to see the vast majority of news as what I call 'day stories'. Those are the bits of news which, while they may be welcome or important, I know will run their course in a day or less. Then there are the biggies. The stories which we're still buzzing about weeks later. The stories which will change the landscape of the whole industry for years to come. This award goes to the Gaming News Story this year which was the most....well that's the question. Is it the most important story? Your favorite story? The most controversial? I'll leave which of those scales are uses up to each of you, but I think we've encapsulated the six most newsworthy gaming stories of the year.
