Yeah, so this is a long shot, but does anyone have a copy they're willing to sell and ship to Canada for a non-ridiculous price? Though, I do recognize the relative value of the game and I'd still be willing to pay well enough.

Barring that, anyone know a place that will ship to Canada where I can get a copy (of the NTSC-U variety, Play Asia unfortunately only has the NTSC-J version)?

Have you thought about just getting the PSP version? It's exactly the same game with some added CG cutscenes.

Getting a PSP plus the game seems about as expensive as getting the PS version. Also, it's supposed to be a Christmas gift for my girlfriend and I know she's been looking for the PS version for a while now.

Ahh, ok. Well, if anything hopefully that rerelease made the price drop on the original, I know that was going for around $80 or so last I saw. That still makes me happy that I'd found the original PS1 game in a pawn shop in perfect condition for $12.

Not much change in the price from what my research has turned up, unfortunately. It's still going for about $70-80 at the low end. Most ebay "buy it now" prices are over $100. And then there's the issue of actually getting a place that ships up here. I'd be willing to pay around $70 for a copy if they would ship to Canada. :(

But just think of the value of giving her a PSP. Well value for her. I'd go with the PSP...
