Nice. To bad I I didn't win anything during their opening contest though.

Damnit!! I'd been holding out on buying a couple of new HDDs until they opened, but just couldn't wait any longer and picked them up day before yesterday. I don't mind throwing a few bucks at the little local guy every now and then, but overall I ended up paying an extra $70! GRRR..

err, I mean.. WOOHOO FINALLY!

Finally! I can import stuff! Quickly... someone tell me will they accept my Pakistani mastercard if I ask them to deliver to an address in Canada?

This would be exciting if I was still in Canada!! Oh well, I'll be back there soon enough at which point I will definitely be using this.

Deals are decent, but not that much better than Canadian equivalents (NCIX, DirectCanada, etc.). Unfortunately, they still ship from the US, and I have heard anecdotally that shipping charges are large. I will make an order myself eventually to see if that is the case.

Ahh.. well that could change things significantly. I'd be interested to hear about your experience. Particularly with regard to any brokerage fees/duties you incur, since those can sometimes get expensive..

I doubt that. It works the other way around, if customs allow stuff here. Even if it was, it'll still cost you an arm, a leg and your appendix(don't ask). Its better to buy stuf locally.:(
