So, I was scrolling through my google reader this morning (as I always do) and stumbled across a Kotaku article (http://kotaku.com/5101718/ken-levine-wishes-pc-gaming-was-more-successful) where the picture is Ken Levine playing BattleLore (http://www.daysofwonder.com/battlelore/en/).

Of course, my first reaction was to gaze forlornly at my shelf, where my poor, sad copy of the game sits and collects dust. I really enjoy the game, and was thinking maybe I should pick up one of the expansion packs to spark more interest from friends, and thus provide me with an opponent or two. Anyone here have recommendations of what (if any) addon packs I should pick up?

Or am I safer just staying far, far away from them and offering cash bribes to friends instead?

I'm not sure about the any of the addon packs but I just asked for this game for Xmas.

I played my first game of battle lore with the wife and ended up losing. It's okay that I lost and I think I'll lose the next few scenarios because then she'll like it a lot more :). I'll post pics of the next game up here.
