The lucky folks at GameTrailer have gotten a hold of four brand new videos for Call of Duty: World at War. The trailers specifically show off the 4 player cooperative mode of the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC versions of the game. Like CoD4, WoW will feature a unique perks system that's all available in co-op.

The four trailers are titled Raid, Subway, Streets, and Competitive Co-Op.

I'm really looking forward to playing this. I recently had a mind set of we really need to get off the WW2 series, but CoDWoW just looks like it works.

What I'm really looking forward to in this game is the 4player co-op. That'll be for some really awesome gaming nights with friends and with members of CoG.

It's really looking spectacular. I just hope the single-player campaign doesn't suffer due to all the focus on co-op (not that focusing on co-op is a bad thing at all, mind you!).

I'm looking forward to this one as well.. I can understand why lots of people are tired of WWII, but I've never played a CoD game I didn't enjoy. The series has been uneven as it got traded between the two developers, and it's a given that IW's efforts have always been the real gems, but in the end I've always managed to have my fun regardless :)

WWII - So tired of this setting I may still skip the game entirely. No matter how good the reviews are.

Co-Op - All kinds of awesome.

I've never really cared about the setting of the game as long as the level design is good.

I am really looking forward to this and it just may be the first game I play through on co-op with fellow CoG'ers. Can't wait!

I'm something of a World War II follower/nut. I'm also a HUGE fan of Treyarch's entries into the series (United Offensive/Big Red One/CoD 3 were all stellar efforts to me).

Needless to say i'm anxiously awaiting this one.

Really digging the fact that Activision let them go nuts with regards to rating/content.

I tried really hard, but I just can't get excited over another WWII shooter. I just can't play it anymore.

Co-Op is the only reason I have any interest in the game at all.

ok... maybe the flamethrowers, too. :D

Same here. I was going to skip over it entirely, but these videos make it look really interesting. Especially the competitive scoring stuff. That could be all kinds of awesome.

Not sure if I can bother w/ another WWII shooter...can't we start a new great world war so our future kids have material to make games out of?

The gameplay could consist of driving around until you're killed by a IED placed on the roadside. Me buying this depends on how the adversarial multiplayer works. If it's good co-op will just be icing on the cake.

I said great world war, not a regional conflict...that or we can just wait til Skynet rises & falls and use that material.

Anyway, I'd much rather wish this game was being developed by IW. I have confidence in that developer over this one.

Also, as far as WWII themed shooters, this is a dead horse.

I feel the same way. Treyarch always seems one step behind Infinity Ward. Still, I love a good co-op game no matter how tired the setting, and WW2 Europe definitely ranks up there with the Battle of Hoth as a tired setting.

I'm curious to see the multi-player component. Not co-op but team based or whatever it'll be.

Awwwww, c'mon Shadow. It's all in fun.

;)

My point being that this doesn't look terribly exciting, especially when compared to: A) other WWII shooters (which I'm sick of but whatever) and B) the rest of the fall lineup.

Plus it sounds like they have some epic music lined up for it.

This is Treyarch's time to shine and I'll be there unless it completely bombs. I don't see it happening.
