So does this author know something the rest of the industry doesn't? I thought it was already pretty well known that ALL the guys came back to do voice overs and lend their likenesses. Rick Moranis was the only one who didn't, as he has left showbusiness.

Also, gotta love calling the Ecto-1 "Echo-1"

Nice. Glad to see them upholding fact-check standards in their news posting. Especially when getting paid for it.

I see no reference to the Ecto-1 anywhere in that article and they are only talking about the Wii version...with it being developed separately apparently isn't it possible they got a different voice cast?

I read the article stating it was "possibly" coming out for the DS and consoles in June. It does say Echo-1 though. I'm not seeing what the ire is about...

What you read is not the same article they previously had up. It was all about the DS version. Apparently, the author thought the DS version was the ONLY place you will get to hear Bill Murray's voice over work. As for the game itself, I gotta say it sounded pretty cool. More of a management game than a action one.

I don't get this, what are you referring to?
The original article made numerous references to Echo-1 (not Ecto-1) and said that the DS version would be the only one with Bill Murray in it (because there's no VO in it) even though Murray has been doing press for the game, because he's one of the leads. Basically the article was a complete mess, and rather than own up to the mistake, it gets sent down the memory hole.

But probably still had enough thousands of hits in order to bank the writer some money via their hit-based bonuses. ;)
