Yep, this is about all the information I have (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/02/sin-and-punishment-2-coming-to-wii/).
Although it's only release in America came as a Virtual Console title on the Wii, Sin & Punishment (N64 version, pictured above) has a pretty hardcore following here in the States. Nintendo has announced a follow-up to the Treasure-developed rail shooter. No details are available yet, but those that have played the original Tsumi to Batsu will know that the game is a perfect fit for Nintendo's current home console.
Still, I can't wait to get my hands on Sin and Punishment 2, even if I have yet to complete the original game.

unexpected.

What I really really really want, is a Treasure Collection for all systems, covering from Genesis to GBA to PS1 to Saturn to N64... basically everything that isn't PS2.

The game would be a great fit for the Wiimote, and Treasure has been rumored to be working on a Wii game for some time, so I don't view this as a complete surprise. Maybe it will seem more surprising to those who have been avoiding Wii news for the most part, but for the Nintendo faithful this looked like a done deal for a long time. We were just waiting for confirmation.

Since they finally brought the original out here in the states, I would say this has a pretty good chance of making it out here as well. I can't wait to see people on the internet whining that it doesn't look any different than the original 8-P.
