So my wife is a big fan of this game, and she's been trying these public competitions on time trials. I was looking up the rankings, and I noticed something odd.

At first, in almost every trial, was the same guy, with ludicrously low scores - like 0.137 seconds for the trial.

Clearly, there's shenanigans going on. Why hasn't Nintendo cracked down on these? I'd have expected them to be hardcore about this kind of thing.

Yeah, I don't know. It's pretty ridiculous. I was in a race the other night where the same dude kept getting bullets over and over again in second place. There's really no way to confront the cheater or report them or anything, though. :(

Hey now, it was hard enough to get Nintendo to do any kind of online offering to begin with. Now you're asking them to regulate cheaters? That might be a bit much. LOL ;)

The more I play Nintendo online games, the more convinced I am that they should have just stuck with offline play only. Their feeble attempts at appearing as though they care about online play have shown that they are at the most, lazy; and at the very least, dangerously apathetic.

Hey now, I LOVE playing Mario Kart online. Don't take that away from me.

But only playing random matches against whoever happens to be out there at the time I want to play. Friend codes are stupid. End of story. No debate. I want Nintendo's online system to work so much like Xbox LIVE that it makes me cry at night like a lost child. :(

I saw a Youtube video that showed someone with infinite Bullet Bills. It's a hack I guess. Some people just ruin it for everyone.
