So I recently got an iPhone and along with it I picked up a screen protector, the only thing is, the plastic sheet covers the ear hole making any call impossible to hear if there is any other noise whatsoever. In hindsight I guess I might've bought a iPod Touch protector instead. I tired fixing it with an exacto knife and all I got was a shitty looking piece of plastic. Anyone have any recommendations on screen protectors?

I have gotten most of my iPod accessories from these nice folks.

I've had my G3 since launch and carry it in my pocket... No scratches yet. Granted I don't keep my keys or anything in there with it.

It is a glass screen, very scratch resistant.

Ok, thanks for the link King, I think I'm going to brave the storm for a while. If I wimp out I'll get that one on welovemacs since it looks pretty good.

The way I view it is that I'll be upgrading this phone within the next couple of years. I had a case for it, but it's just makes the phone a little bulkier than it needs to be. I just make a conscious effort to not put the phone in the same pocket as my bundle of keys. So far, it's worked out great for me...no scratches...even after it tumbled down a few concrete steps at the last hockey game.

The only area that tends to be prone to scratching is the back; as KG said, the glass is very scratch resistant. I apply these (http://www.bestskinsever.com/servlet/StoreFront) to my gadgets and they do a great job. You can hardly see them once they are on and dry.
I also use best skins ever. I have one on my first gen iphone. Here is the one for the 3g iphone: http://www.bestskinsever.com/servlet/the-88/iPhone-3G-Skin/Detail.
