It's $450, which is exactly what I'm in the market for, because a) I don't do ANY newer gaming on the PC (just graphic adventures that are meant to run on middle aged women's computers) and b) $500 is my ceiling. Also, it comes with XP drivers, so I'd be "down"grading immediately.

Any great reasons why I shouldn't do it?

That is a great price for the laptop! If you are looking for any alternatives, Dell and Gateway has comparable laptops for about the same price.

It looked like they had comparable laptops in the $600 range, last I checked.

Might be able to grab a Core 2 Duo from someone else for around the price. Also, take a look at price for Black Friday. Some deals are close to that price.

For $450 that laptop is awesome.
