So, anyone looking forward to it? I'm just glad its something of 24 to watch before waiting till January for the new season.

FOX had the 'Making of Redemption' the other day that was pretty interesting, anyone catch that?

Can't wait for sunday night.

So, I suppose no one likes 24 around here? Such a shame...

Why wait? I'm pretty sure I saw it up on Hulu.

May be the case, but I decided to catch it live anyway since I wasn't doing much that night anyway.

Was a pretty decent movie and left some thigns open for season 7 to cover. There were a couple of holes that were left for you to figure out which was unfortunate.

Going to be hard to get used to the new president.

I thought it was OK. I agree that it will be tough getting used to the new President. Something rubs me the wrong way about her, but they did set up some nice things to play with for the new season.

I thought it was a mixed bag. I really liked most of the scenes in Africa, but all the conspiracy stuff in Washington was just tired and predictable. Plus, if the evil dudes are so powerful to have tracked and immediately known everything that the trader guy did with the computer files, why didn't they just delete the files themselves in the first place? Meh. I'm so tired of that shadow government/corporation/whatever conspiracy theme. The show is at its best when it focuses more on the action and Jack's exploits.

I watched it and enjoyed it, but it was definitely middle of the road when you rate it against 24's best over the years. I find it funny that they've run out of ways for Jack to save America, so now he has to save Africa :) (although since Season 7 is set in America again, I'm sure they've found something else for him to do)

The thing that REALLY bugged me was not being able to put something heavy on top of that mine so it wouldn't explode. I mean seriously... Jack had his knife out and everything... just hold the trigger down with the knife and find something heavy from your pack to weigh it down. I'm not a landmine expert or anything, but why wouldn't this work?

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure you'd have to find something heavy enough to simulate a soldier's weight.
